Over 40 Elected Officials Endorse Democrat John Kane for State Senate

Kane Announces $435,000 Raised in First Month

Birmingham, PA – Democrat John Kane (SD-9) today announced over 40 local, county, legislative and statewide elected officials have endorsed his campaign for the State Senate. Both Chester County Democratic Commissioners and a majority of the Delaware County Council have endorsed Kane, so far. Kane also announced that he raised over $435,000 in just the first month of his campaign.

“I am grateful for the outpouring of support from leaders in Delaware and Chester counties, as well as from across our state,” said Kane. “They know my record and commitment to helping people here at home because I have been partnering with them for years to make meaningful progress.”

Chester County Commissioner Marian Moskowitz said, “For decades, John Kane has been fighting for workers and values that the Democratic Party is proud to stand for. I am excited to endorse John Kane because I know he will continue that fight for the people of Chester and Delaware Counties.”

“We need real leaders in Harrisburg”, said Delaware County Councilwoman Monica Taylor. “People who we can trust to do the hard work, make tough decisions and never forget where they came from. That’s John Kane and that’s why he has my trust, my friendship, and my endorsement.”

“I am pleased to endorse John Kane for Pennsylvania Senate in the 9th District,” said Representative Leanne Krueger (PA-161). “John Kane is a fighter and I have been proud to stand with him on the side of working families in both political and legislative battles. I know that John will take that same passion for protecting workers to Harrisburg, where he’ll fight for the everyday people of Delaware and Chester Counties.”

“John Kane raised over $435,000 in his first month of campaigning,” said campaign manager Steve Warhola. “Democrats can flip this district from red to blue and John Kane is proving he is their best chance to do it.”

“I will continue to partner with our leaders to protect a woman’s right to choose, fight for common sense gun control, equal pay for equal work, and to make health care affordable for everyone,” said Kane. “I am equally dedicated to protecting our environment and our communities by holding Sunoco and its Mariner pipeline accountable to the highest safety standards and at no cost to taxpayers. ”
